The program will highlight a dance performance by the UT dance troupe, Front ‘N Center.
This year, the Heman Sweatt Symposium on Civil Rights focuses on health inequities within the community. Dr. Ryan Sutton will host a conversation with local officials Stephanie Hayden-Howard and Dr. Desmar Walkes. Topics will address issues of access, representation and trust.
In addition to this compelling discussion, we will congratulate Anthony Collier, Dionicia Berrones and the Black Graduate Student Association, recipients of the Heman Sweatt Student Legacy Award.
